Wooli has been somewhat silent as of late, but that ends now with his newest single “The Core”. The new single was released Friday on Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records. Wooli has been known to dabble with all sorts of different sounds, but this track is by far his biggest leap.

Although Wooli has been somewhat quiet on his releases, besides his Subsidia assisted Excision collab, he has played a variety of Livestreams and drive-in raves like Insomniac’s Park N Rave, which he headlined in January alongside Ace Aura and Trivecta. Those who were able to attend will instantly recognize the new track as it was a huge feature for Wooli’s new set.

This heavy-hitting bass track pushes the boundaries of bass music as we know it. Wooli combines fast-paced hardstyle with neck-breaking dubstep and even little stretches of psytrance. The production of this song sounds a bit chaotic, but from the chaos brings a neck-breaking beat that will please any headbanger.
