Heard It Here First

ION is back! The bass and dubstep producer has made 2021 his year with tons of releases and bookings alike. He has his own West Coast tour slated for the rest of the Summer and is playing The Untz Festival next weekend. He also scored a headlining gig at Bass Wobble in SoCal, at the beginning of May. On top of that, he played a drive-in show alongside Riot Ten, SubDocta, and Yakz a few months back.

He’s also a favorite of MeSo‘s Spicy Bois label, home to some of the hottest names in the underground bass world, where ION has released multiple times in the past.

On his new self-released tune, “Other World”, ION transports us to that separate realm that many of us need, as music is our escape from daily lives. It’s a filth-fueled rollercoaster of a release. The tune boasts gross dubstep and bass production and is another stellar addition to the quickly growing producer’s artillery of bangers.

We had the pleasure of premiering this tune for the HIHF favorite and are amped to see what’s next for the quickly growing talent.

He also performed at the 2020 edition of our Cabin Fever Festival, a fundraiser benefitting the Innocence Project. For now, enjoy his brand new banger “Other World” below.
