Farrah is a Hong Kong producer who has gained a ton of attention as of late. The trap maven has caused tons of waves in the underground bass community and has worked with some of our fellow up-and-comers like Juuku, SENZA, and Osins.
Today, the rising star electronic artist is linking up with one of the biggest labels in the dubstep world. Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label has championed some of the most successful artists in EDM, ranging from Subtronics to Blanke to Imanu, and tons of other talented producers.
Their We Are Deadbeats compilation album series has also hosted MASSIVE names over the years and the esteemed label is back today with volume five, featuring contributions from Smoakland, Tape B, MYTHM, Zingara, NotLö, and tons of other HIHF favorites. We had the pleasure of teaming up with both Deadbeats and Farrah to help premiere her newest work, which is certain to make the gunfingers go rampant!
For Farrah’s new track off of the most recent Deadbeats comp, she’s turning gears towards straight drum and bass mayhem! For her first-ever DnB release, “EVERLAST” is a STRONG case that she needs to be cranking out more heaters in this subgenre. Here’s what she had to say about her filthy new banger:
“EVERLAST was made when I experienced love like I’ve never had before. The beautiful moments I’ve had with this special person felt as if it would last forever. It is also the first song in which I finally felt comfortable with creating Drum & Bass and incorporating my style with ever-changing rhythms. It is an emotional song that evolves into a beast of its own as it progresses. I’m so proud of what this song stands for, and expanding my sound into newer territories.” – Farrah
We also had the chance to have Farrah on board for our HIHF guest mix series, you can peep her contribution here for an epic rollercoaster jam-packed with high-octane EDM trap sounds.
