Liquid Stranger is a must-know artist in the dubstep world. His WAKAAN label and festival have championed some of the biggest names in the bass world like CloZee, Koan Sound, LSDream, Subtronics, Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, and Mersiv. The sister label SSKWAN, which focuses on downtempo releases, has also brought out some heavy hitters in the past to their releases as well, ranging from Luzcid to Au5 to Super Future.

Today, Christmas comes early. Liquid is gifting his fans the first single off his forthcoming SSKWAN-assisted EP, “Smoke N Hope.”

The new track features soothing vocals from Grammy-winning songwriter J. Lauryn, who has worked with massive popstar names like BTS and Post Malone in the past. The mixture of these powerful lyrics, a distinct strumming of the guitar, and Liquid Stranger’s knack for crafting vivacious, mesmerizing beats are sure to leave listeners entranced with this brand-new single.

Liquid Stranger has undoubtedly created some of the top downtempo tracks in the modern dubstep world. Tracks like “Dissolve” or “Totem” are forever goated in his massive discography of mostly uptempo, mainstage-friendly heaters.
