Molokai is back with another otherworldly release, this time his new six-track Other Dimension EP. This transcendental EP comes shortly after his recent collab, “Higher Life” with Black Carl!, which was absolutely filthy.
In 2022, Molokai had one of the biggest years of his career, with performances at Sonic Bloom, Infrasound, Beyond Existence, as well as support slots on select dates for G Jones on his IllusoryOS tour. This year, Molokai has recently been accompanying Of The Trees as a supporting artist on his Codex Natura tour.
On top of some massive festival and tour appearances, Molokai has also recently released singles on some of the most esteemed labels in bass music, ranging from Subtronics‘ Cyclops Recordings to MeSo‘s Spicy Bois. His collab, “Timelapse,” with Chmura on CloZee’s Odyzey Music‘s Muzique was a huge hit last year, as well as his remix of “Distant Voices” on Eazybaked‘s Intertwined (Remixes) album.
The Other Dimension EP takes listeners on a journey through sound as they explore worlds unknown. Molokai pulled out all the stops on this insane EP. It’s an impressive feat of sound engineering as he propels notes all around you layered with kicks and snares and an absolute surplus of bass. Kicking off with the title track, “Other Dimension,” you start to get a feel for the voyage you’re about to embark on.
This EP also features two craftily curated collabs with rising stars Vide and Daggz. These collabs follow the theme of in-your-face, deep bass gooeyness.
