Red Rocks Amphitheater has been home to many talented artists over the years of its existence, and just last week, Of The Trees announced his first headlining performance at the iconic Colorado venue. The young Colorado native has made a massive name for himself with releases like Tanglewood and Tale Of Elegos. He recently created a platform for talented artists with his fresh new label Memory Palace. Memory Palace made its debut with Of The Trees’ hypnotic downtempo EP Tale Of Elegos.

Currently, Of The Trees is traveling the country performing sold-out venues for his Codex Natura tour. Playing esteemed venues like Soundcheck in Washington D.C., Mission Ballroom in Denver, Otherworld in Columbus, and an upcoming two-night run at The Caverns, this has been the most monumental tour of his career so far. He also brought a massive lineup of acts for support, ranging from The Widdler to Black Carl! to Jon Casey and many more.

Not only is this the tree boi’s first headlining performance at Red Rocks, but he also has the honor of closing out the venue’s season on November 12th alongside Barclay CrenshawYheti, kLL sMTH, and The Librarian. Now, let’s dive a little deeper into this insane cast of supporting artists for the event.

Barclay Crenshaw

Those of you who are house heads know this brilliant man as Claude Von Stroke, the face of the acclaimed Dirtybird music label. Barclay Crenshaw is the experimental bass music side project of Claude Von Stroke. Performances are sporadic, making every show a noteworthy occurrence. Last year, he performed at Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan Music Festival, and it was a fan favorite that is still talked about often across the bass scene. Peep the SoundCloud link for the official recording of his mind-boggling set.

Yheti

Yheti has made a name for himself as one of the most eccentric producers in the bass music industry. His complex sound design and arsenal of both released and unreleased bangers have made him a massive favorite of the team at HIHF. This man has over 150 released tracks and spends the better part of his day working on creating new music for his fans. On top of all that, he’s recently started incorporating his own live A/V sets into his tours. It’s hard to find a more dedicated producer than Yheti!

kLL sMTH

Kristoffer Edland, better known to the bass music world as kLL sMTH, has been cutting up the decks and burning holes in dance floors for the better part of ten years now. His sets consist of deep heavy bass, glitch-hop, and chiller daytime gRLL sMTH sets. This will be kLL sMTH’s first Red Rocks performance so we’re sure the bass maestro will have something special in the works for his set at the legendary venue.

The Librarian

This Canadian DJ/Producer is also the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival. Don’t let the name fool you; there’s nothing quiet about this set. The Librarian knows no bounds regarding her style. Her sets often consist of anything from deep dub, old-school dubstep, grime, DnB, and everything in between. DO NOT sleep on this artist’s opening set because this will undoubtedly be an unforgettable performance for The Librarian’s first Red Rocks appearance!

We couldn’t think of a better cast of artists to close out Red Rocks this year. It’s a massive accomplishment for Of The Trees to host his first headlining show at Colorado’s most famous venue, as well as giving multiple supporting artists their first chance to grace its stage. It makes everyone’s hearts so full here at HIHF to see this level of success for this group of talented producers.
