HŪMANSIŌN is a rising star in the quickly moving world of bass music. The dubstep up-and-comer has gotten tons of support from the don himself Excision, appearing on his Lost Lands Compilation album and releasing on his Subsidia just a few weeks ago. He has also released on popular labels like Noiseporn and WTF’s That Sound and his Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow Remix was one of Excision’s go-to tracks in his sets last year.
HŪMANSIŌN is back today with a brand new collaboration with Fly Jordy titled “Pop Like A Soda.” This is HŪMANSIŌN’s first time working with a rapper and it just might be his most ambitious and energetic track yet. It’s got that big burley sound that’s perfect for the dubstep mainstage but with a new-school rap buildup led by Fly Jordy’s brutally savage bars.
This tune was most notably dropped as an unreleased gem by Excision, back at his massive Thunderdome event in 2023.That being said, I bet we will be hearing a lot of this tune come festival season. The collaborative banger is out now on Jessica Audifredd‘s new record label, A Records.
Here’s what HŪMANSIŌN had to say about “Pop Like A Soda”:
“I think the track is badass. During the breakdown with the big growl, and when Fly Jordy shouts: “BACK IT UP, BACK IT UP”… you know shit is about to go down. I wanted to create a track for moshpit, because I think it is a good way to let off steam. That’s the feeling I get when I’m in one.” – HŪMANSIŌN
