Kumarion and Smoakland are two artists we have loved shining the spotlight on these past couple of years, as both have been cranking out some of our favorite bangers that we’ve ever covered.
Although well-known for his filthy DnB stylings, Kumarion sparked a fire with his viral trap banger, “Want It,” which was one of the most played-out tracks of the pandemic. Smoakland have excelled in a variety of genres since hitting the scene, ranging from heavy bass to liquid DnB to melodic dubstep, working with huge names like Mersiv, Shlump, and Ravenscoon along the way.
Today, the two HIHF favorites are linking up for their highly anticipated collaborative EP, out now through Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats label. The High Rollers EP follows Smoakland and Kumarion’s joint tour of the same name, where they traveled the country slanging filthy DnB tunes and influencing a crowd full of fans to shoot their gun fingers up into the air every night.
The High Rollers EP from Smoakland and Kumarion starts off with “Worth All The Wait,” which is a powerful DnB banger led by agressive and effective vocals from jELACEE.
Following that is the title track, “High Rollers,” which features a captivating intro and an absolutely filthy breakdown. It’s easy to picture Smoakland and Kumarion ‘high-rollin” with this disgusting concoction as the action-packed backing soundtrack.
Closing out the Deadbeats assisted project is “Fluxuations”. This final tune showcases a heavier bass sound and is a great addition to any bass-head’s playlists.
