Daze22 is an LA-based, SF-born producer who is coming through today with a filthy new edit of an iconic track. He takes inspiration from some of our favorite names here at HIHF, like EPROM, G Jones, and IVY LAB. Now, the young artist is taking on EDM legend Porter Robinson‘s nostalgic 2018 side-project Virtual Self.
“ANGEL VOICES,” a remake of “Ghost Voices” by Porter himself, was one of the most well-loved Virtual Self tracks and now it’s getting a brand new refix treatment from a rising star producer.
Daze22’s new remix makes the tune even glitchier, with intense and in-your-face percussion. Here’s what Daze22 had to say about the new remix of Virtual Self’s “ANGEL VOICES:”
“For this particular remix, my goal was to take the main elements of ANGEL VOICES and put them in a more sinister context. I really wanted this one to feel strange and hard-hitting, something that would perform well at a warehouse party in LA.” – Daze22
