Sully has become a staple of the Wakaan label over the past few years. Liquid Stranger’s home to all things weird and wonderful has showcased some of the biggest artists in dubstep and has continuously been a platform for those bigger names and rising stars alike to flex some of the hardest-hitting and emotional experimental bass music there is.
Today, Wakaan and Sully are back together again to unleash his debut, full-length album, a project Sully has put every ounce of his heart and soul into.
This follows multiple single releases throughout the year, as well as Sully’s banger-packed Submersed EP, which featured collabs with HIHF favorites like Smoakland, IORA, and Misdom.
On the “Digital Underground” album, Sully showcases many sides of his production prowess, ranging from subgenres like experimental bass, heavy dubstep, trap, bass house, DnB, halftime, and more. Here’s what he had to say about the full project:
“Digital Underground serves as a powerful reminder that: ‘more is never enough.’ In a society chasing constant growth and success, we often forget to live in the moment and appreciate the beauty of what we already have. As you venture through the immersive journey, I urge you to pause, embrace the present, and find gratitude in the richness of your life. It’s a captivating call to the present, inspiring to unlock your limitless potential and savor every note of this extraordinary journey.” – Sully
The album features collaborations with Effin, Masta Plan, OMAS, and features vocal performances from the likes of Virus Syndicate, Dani King, Jessy Covets and more!
