If you were fortunate enough to catch a Kursa set this past summer, you most likely heard his diabolical new single “BLUNT FUSION” rinsed at a festival, and it’s finally available for your listening and downloading pleasure!
The track stands out for its unusual tempo and gut-punching bass. A slow kick-snare drum pattern coupled with an eclectic, distorted bassline makes for one hell of a track, gracing festival sound systems all year. This track is another versatile weapon in Kursa’s discography as he continues to cement his legacy in the dubstep and halftime spaces.
Kursa announced he was departing from his longtime label Slug Wife in 2023. However, he’s already announced one of the most insane sets of 2024; a b2b with the dons Ternion Sound at The Astral Project in April in Tennessee. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for the legend in 2024 and beyond.
Kursa is an artist you can always count on to deliver boundary-breaking bass music and that’s exactly what we see here on his newest tune “BLUNT FUSION.” Hopefully, there is more music to come from Kursa soon! But for now, “BLUNT FUSION” stays in rotation.
