D.C.’s club flash is one of the hottest spots in the DMV for electronic music fans. Both their bumping rooftop and their club room, packed with a Funktion One Sound System, has hosted some of the most impressive talents in dance music. Enter D.C.’s The Gradient Perspective, Para Presents, and Closed Sessions, who have thrown tons of impressive bass lineups at the D.C. nightlife staple over the past year, bringing big bass names like Tripp St, Daily Bread, VCTRE, Khiva, NotLo, Black Carl! and tons more to the district. DMV bass fans know their impact first hand!

On September 7th, The Gradient Perspective, alongside Para Presents and Closed Sessions, are bringing two of the hottest names in the underground bass world to Flash, Kursa and Smigonaut!

Kursa is the head honcho of the fan-favorite Slug Wife collective. The Bristol-based production maestro has performed all across the world, bringing his filthy, low-end wubs to the limelight at festivals like Wakaan Fest, Sol Fest, and Sound Haven.

Smigonaut is an artist who presents his funky neuro-bass with a layer of swings and freeform jazz cemented within. With diabolical collaborative works with Jade Cicada and DeeZ, as DeeZNauts, and an extremely impressive 2022 full-length album under his belt, this rising star producer has a massive future ahead. We are absolutely GASSED for these performances from the ultra-talented bass artists.

In the main support slot is a favorite of MeSo‘s Spicy Bois label, Virginia beach natives Big City, who have worked with HIHF favorites like Blurrd Vzn in the past.
