Spirit Motel is a Denver-based electronic artist known for his lush chords and melodies, fused together with beautiful and emotional lyricism. His music exemplifies the trials and tribulations we all go through, giving a glimpse of what it means to be human. His performances feature his full energy and skillset, providing fans a multi-faceted solo live act fueled by Spirit Motel’s own musical creativity and vocal efforts.

After providing support for Madeon’s Red Rocks show earlier this year, Spirit Motel has returned to his fans with an effervescent new soundscape to add to our library of chilled-out electronic anthems.

In the past, Spirit Motel has appeared on HIHF favorite CloZee’s record label, Odyzey. His collaborative track “Dark Soul,” alongside Lucid Vision, was included as a part of Odyzey’s 2023 compilation “Muzique, Vol. 3.”

Drawing inspiration from the likes of ODESZA, Porter Robinson, Madeon, and INZO, his newest downtempo release titled “Trying To Believe” showcases a different side of Spirit Motel’s ever-impressive production prowess.

This track is absolutely epic, as if it was plucked right off of the iconic Porter Robinson Worlds album, or the equally absurd Good Faith album from Madeon. “Trying To Believe” transports listeners to a glitchy, peaceful world unlike anything they’ve ever known. Traveling on a cloud throughout this new beautiful soundscape, Spirit Motel is our spirit guide as we traverse this new magical land. It’s the perfect atmospheric backdrop for a long car ride, a hike, or even a day shredding on the slopes!

Here’s what Spirit Motel had to say about the meaning behind his emotional new work:

“POV: You’re in a toxic relationship, and it feels like you’re constantly walking on eggshells, reveling in the fear of the impending breakup, wondering, ‘is this the last time I’m going to see them?’ I wrote this song while navigating those feelings, struggling to hold on to the belief that everything was going to be okay.”
