To wrap up this year’s pride month, Denver welcomed the queer visionary and multitalented artist, Wreckno, for their biggest headline show yet, selling the most tickets of their career thus far. Between the wild performances, surprise guests, and many fun activities, Wreckno’s Big Gay Soirée was a momentous event that brought connection and celebration to attendees.

This exhilarating show was the last stop of Wreckno’s pride tour around the States. Wreckno took to X to express their appreciation and love for the bass capital of Denver and how it has accepted them, calling it the first big city to really champion them as an artist and performer.

Known to light up any stage, Wreckno has developed an admirable career while creating safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community. This performer has mastered being a superstar and has succeeded in many skills such as rapping, producing, DJing, and dancing. We’ve watched this uplifting creator grow throughout the years and felt so honored to witness their most successful show yet.

Denver-based Drag DJ, Ava Sparks, started the show out strong with a thrilling set of euphoric bass house blended with techno and groovy disco. The infectious vibes of her performance carried over to the next artist as transfemme producer, So Sus, took the stage for an immersive dance music experience filled with hard-hitting freeform bass, hybrid trap, and deep dub tunes. She even bopped into the crowd and got down with fans to debut her new remix, the So Sus Edition of “Push” by Skrillex, Hamdi, TAICHU & OFFAIAH.

The venue’s magnetizing undertone only intensified as DJ, entertainer, and vocalist, Kaleena Zanders, brought the heat. Her sweltering selection of tracks and finesse on the microphone had the dancefloor quaking as she dropped fresh house tunes, such as her latest release, Looking For Joy.” We also got blessed with a surprise tech and house set from the trend-setting producer, J. Worra. The special guest delivered her expressive swagger on the decks and brought even more life to the already iconic party.

The drag performances were breathtaking as the gorgeous performers from RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens, Aja and LaLa Ri, also the first transgender winner on the show, each brought the house down with heart-stopping moves and intoxicating numbers. Aja ignited fire down the runway as she performed songs from her new rap mixtape, Femme Queen Rage, out now on all platforms. LaLa Ri’s powerful demeanor also hypnotized us as her glamour and elegance served up a riveting routine.

The night ended with a bang as the luminous headliner finally graced the venue. Wreckno had the stage sizzling as they dropped a booty-shaking blend of genres ranging from experimental dubstep to all the house favorites. The production was out of this world and each background dancer brought their A-game as always. We even got to witness the icon perform their brand new single,Party Girl,” an adrenalizing summer house anthem.

Alongside many special artists, team members, and devoted fans, the atmosphere was flourishing with gleaming energy and positivity. Everyone flaunted their colorful fashion, intricate makeup, and body art done for free by painters at the show. There were some of the most unique garments and styles I’ve personally ever seen at an event. This beautiful, artistic gathering reminded us how fulfilled we are being a part of this scene and truly caring community.

After the inspirational night and star quality of the lineup, we can tell this is just the beginning for Wreckno as they traverse dance music superstardom. Would you attend an extravaganza like Wreckno’s Big Gay Soirée? Let us know in the comments or on our socials below!
