Heard It Here First

Buckle up for the first single from two of the most iconic artists in dubstep history, “WDGAF” hits the ears hard and heavy. Doctor P and Flux Pavillion are absolute legends in the bass scene, with an extensive, trailblazing career under their belts, originating back to 2009 when Circus Records was founded between these two childhood friends.

Doctor P originally dropped his track “Sweet Shop” to MySpace back in the day to test the waters, unknowingly starting an empire in bass music that would make him become a quadruple threat with titles of producer, songwriter, label founder, and DJ. Since the release of “Sweet Shop”, Doctor P has only grown and grown. By producing “Music is Dead” with Dillion Francis, “Business” with Far East Movement, and most recently his recent dubstep hit “24/7” with yet again, Flux Pavilion. Here’s what he had to say about the new track and the upcoming album:

Co-founder of Circus Records, Flux Pavillion is a pioneer of modern dubstep. His impact on this scene is really indescribable. Playing Glastonbury, Coachella, Ministry of Sound and Fabric in London, Echostage in Washington D.C., and stages all across the world, Flux made a name for himself in the early days of bass music, dominating shows with his tracks “Bass Cannon” and “I Can’t Stop.” Working with the biggest names in the industry over the years, Excision, Zeds Dead Yellow Claw, and Wooli, whatever Flux touches instantly turns to gold. He’s put out a pretty copius amount of music over the past few years. His .wav album from 2021 was one of our favorites and his Fluxiverse EPs from 2023 and 2024 are STILL on repeat. Here’s what he said about his newest track:
