A New Hampshire native, Teed seamlessly weaves electronic and instrumental music by effectively blending hard-hitting and experimental bass with next-level violin skills. Amassing twenty-plus years on the violin, with an extensive background in classical, Celtic, and orchestral music, he combines his talent in sound design with a knack for storytelling to create music that is sure to captivate your senses and bring you on a journey. Josh Teed has toured all across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, and has played many notable festivals including Texas Eclipse, Lightning In A Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Big Dub, and more.

Serving as the first chapter in this upcoming story arc, this expertly layered, genre-defying EP is a full circle moment for Josh Teed’s career that launches you into another realm steeped in intricate melodies, ominous battle calls, and ethereal soundscapes all rooted in an orchestral fashion. The three-track EP showcases Josh’s stellar and boundary-breaking production skills while also laying the foundation for his fictionalized universe that will further expand into a larger body of work.

The EP commences with the first track “A Journey Begins”, which gently calls to you, welcoming you to embark on an ethereal journey accompanied by celestial vocals, elegant piano strings, and dreamy percussion. The next track “Animus” is a collaboration produced with Abstrakt Sonance which builds up into an ominous but lively, inviting low-end sound that beckons you even deeper. Closing out the EP is the story of “The Fray” which belongs on both the big screen as well as dancefloors everywhere.
