Amidst the cold weather, Of The Trees has been bringing the heat to fans on his “Moonglade” Tour, performing at some of the most revered venues, including Red Rocks, Area15, Meow Wolf, and the Hollywood Palladium. Heard It Here First couldn’t miss catching him at the newly renovated Brooklyn Paramount. Those who braved the snow witnessed Of The Trees breathe new life into the legendary Brooklyn venue alongside Abnr, FLY, EAZYBAKED, and Opiuo.

First, the level of production on this tour is downright meteoric. Immediately, I was blown away by the sound, lighting quality, and stage design. The visuals were perfectly positioned to appear as if they were part of the barn, keeping me laser-focused throughout the evening. Of course, Of The Trees brought no shortage of lights and lasers to fill the massive room.

Abnr warmed up the crowd with an absolute showcase, laying out an impressive, exploratory set filled with massive basses and intricate melodies. FLY and EAZYBAKED kept the party going hard. The energy in the crowd during their performances was palpable and only fed the artists as their sets just ramped up more and more, leading into the final opener of the night, Opiuo. Opiuo never fails to leave my jaw on the floor. Between the kinetic kaleidoscopic visuals, groovy basslines, his dance moves, and starting a human wave, he made sure there wasn’t a single person in that venue not boogying on down.

As Of The Trees took to the stage, the crowd erupted with fans screaming from the floor all the way up to the balcony. Of The Trees’ set was a fantastic emulsion of his newer and older discography. He also played many fan favorites, including “Owl Song,” “Durin’s Tower,” and even got quite the ovation after my favorite track off Tale OF Elegos, “I’ll Be Ready.” Check out the picture below from his IG story of his name on a very short list of iconic artists who have sold out this iconic venue!

After the show at Paramount ended, I made my way over to the afters. Unfortunately, I didn’t get in until FLY B2B EAZYBAKED, but with that being said, that was a pairing I never knew I needed.

I’ve seen BLAAP a few times now, and I think that was the best performance I’ve ever witnessed from them. They were having so much fun on that little stage, still riding the high from Paramount. Seeing them up so close in a venue of that small size, who knows when I’ll get to experience that intimate of a performance from them again!

Of The Trees and his team once again put together a fantastic evening for fans and HIHF loves to see the care and support they consistently put into their events.
