Big Gramatik is officially back. For years, fans have only caught glimpses of the undeniable chemistry between dance powerhouses Big Gigantic and Gramatik. Their first link-up came in 2013 at Electric Forest alongside GRiZ, when the trio tore up the festival’s massive wooded stages as Big Grizmatik. They then reunited again in 2016 at the Summer Camp Music Festival, leaving everyone hungry for more.

In 2019, Big Gigantic and Gramatik finally teamed up on their first official release together, “Better Believe It Now”—a track that pulled in millions of streams and quickly became a festival favorite. Today, the two are taking things a step further, kicking off a new chapter together with their latest single, “Til the Sun Come Up”, featuring their longtime friend and lyrical collaborator ProbCause.

The new track delivers exactly what you’d hope from this epic supergroup: bass and brass colliding in just the perfect, succinct way. Big Gigantic’s euphoric saxophone riffs and hypnotizing drums lock in perfectly with the gritty, funky sounds we’ve all come to know and love from Gramatik. Add ProbCause to the mix—bringing bars and his signature energy—and you’ve got an anthem that feels tailor-made for the electro-funk scene that’s been absolutely thriving this year.

What makes “Till The Sun Come Up” even more exciting is what it represents. Big Gramatik isn’t just a one-off collab or the occasional festival set anymore—it’s a full-on project with its own identity, sound, and future.

The timing couldn’t be better either: the single lands just ahead of their live debut at Metamorphosis Festival in Orlando on August 30th, where the two acts will bring this new vision to the stage for the very first time. Attendees can expect a set that combines both artists’ classics while carving out a fresh, unmistakable lane for the Big Gramatik project.

For both artists, this feels like a team-up that was always meant to happen.  Big Gigantic have spent over a decade perfecting their high-energy live shows, while Gramatik has built a reputation for blending funk, soul, and electronic production in ways that always stand out, perfecting the ‘chill-step’ sound.  Together, they strike a balance that feels both inevitable and brand new, both of the times and a nod to their classic sounds.
