Heard It Here First

We are getting really excited for Rüfüs Du Sol‘s upcoming album here at HIHF. The Australian three-piece is set to release their new album, Solace, this coming October. They have already released three of the tracks from the album, including “No Place” and “Lost In My Mind”. My personal favorite release from Solace so far is their second single, “Underwater”.

I was lucky enough to see them perform “Underwater” twice, both times before the song’s official release. The first time was at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, where we saw Rufus at This Tent, a smaller stage that graced us with an intimate performance from the band. The second was Weekend 2 Electric Forest, which Rufus just shared with the world via Youtube. Enjoy their six-minute performance of the new song above! It’s not as magical as it was to be there seeing their headlining set, but it’s pretty damn close.
