We really do blast out the bangers on this site, always providing our readers with the heaviest and the most complex electronic epics. I love that turn-up, go hard shit. But it’s always important to switch it up when you’re winding down and taking the edge off.

Today, I decided to focus on Hip-Hop tracks that might be more relaxing or chill, most of them featuring the vocals of a non-rap act, most of them from the early 2010s. I love tracks where two voices complement each other perfectly, especially when it’s two collaborating artists from separate genres. These are all ideal kick-back tracks, all songs that chill you out while simultaneously putting that big fat grin on your face.

Enjoy this playlist full of awesome Rap/R&B collabs from the first half of the decade. Included are some of my most played tracks from that time period. Heavily featuring names like Frank Ocean, Jhene Aiko, Childish Gambino, Tyler The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Chance The Rapper, Miguel, Pusha T, Big Sean, and many more as they were coming up in the game. Only twenty tracks this time. Be sure to follow us on Instagram @hearditherefirstmusic for our updated-daily release coverage and thanks for listening! Apple Music link here.
