JP Orchison, better known to the EDM world as Blanke, has been making serious tidal waves across the industry for the past year or so. Between his mega-heavy Rezz collab, official “Happier” and “Pressure” remixes, and a slew of other mid-tempo heaters scattered across 2018, this Australian producer is slowly and surely gaining serious recognition.

It’s well deserved, Blanke is crushing it. He just put out a two-track EP a few weeks back through Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label and now is about to team up with Black Tiger Sex Machine on their new project dropping this Friday.

Fun-fact, two years ago Blanke was signed to UK club label Ministry of Sound as a Big-Room artist but stated that “His heart wasn’t in it and he is a lot happier doing Bass music“.

We are very happy to share with our readers Blanke’s L.A. debut performance– recorded and hosted by Brownies and Lemonade at their Deadbeats Takeover. The curated event also included sets from Peekaboo, Holly, SMLE, Jaenga, and a surprise set by Hooks from Zeds Dead. Also, be sure to check Blanke’s BBC Radio 1 Guest Mix here and enjoy his Deadbeats Takeover/L.A. debut set below.
