Major Lazer, an eight-year endeavor between Diplo, Walshy Fire, and Jillionaire is supposedly coming to an end with their upcoming fourth album Music Is The Weapon. Today we heard the first single from the album, “Can’t Take It From Me” featuring Skip Marley, a Jamaican singer-songwriter who also is the grandson of legendary artist Bob Marley. “Cant Take It From Me” touches Major Lazer’s Caribbean roots and is both uplifting and chill. This one certainly has some radio potential.
Skip Marley’s vocals add the perfect umph to the track’s horns in the refrain and the consistent, mellow beat. Listen to the first single from Major Lazer’s new album below!
