This year, WHIPPED CREAM and LICK have both respectively carved out their own musical niche to thrive in, played some incredible festivals (and more to come!), and released some of the best music of 2019. WHIPPED CREAM (Caroline Cecil) is a Vancouver-based producer who has spent her life fully immersed in music. After several different pursuits, WHIPPED CREAM has found her niche–producing and playing hip-hop influenced dark bass music. Her style transcends multiple genres and creates a feeling that can only be described as ‘limitless’. Meanwhile, LICK (Josh Li) from Phoenix, Arizona has been scheming and crafting his way into the scene by releasing heavy energetic music. His unique sound has put people on notice as he has had a string of releases on Deadbeats and official remixes for Zeds Dead, Jauz, and more.
Yesterday, the two masterminds dropped their new anthem “The Greatest”, out now via Deadbeats. “The Greatest” is a dark and bold declaration from WHIPPED CREAM and LICK as they effortlessly blend their signature styles together into a heavy track you’ll want to listen to on repeat.
