Steez Promo is the brilliant team behind the scenes of the annual Moonrise Festival at the Pimlico racetrack outside Baltimore each summer, as well as tons of the East Coast’s biggest shows in the EDM world.

This year, after year after year of success with Moonrise Fest, the minds at Steez are bringing us a brand new event — Fright Night Massive. The inaugural two-day festival will feature a humungous, cooled tent similar to Moonrise’s Solar Tent, but it will be even bigger. Fright Night Massive will also feature a cast full of volunteers that are dressed and acting like the army of the living dead, out to get each and every festival-goer and turn them over to the dark side aka the zombified side.

It also features a jam-packed lineup featuring some of the most unique talents in the dance music industry including but certainly not limited to Adventure Club, Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, and tons more.

To get us prepared for the festival, we put together a little playlist that includes a few tracks from artists across the full line up. We also put together a brief list letting our readers know the ten acts our team is most excited for. If any of these acts aren’t on your radar, definitely check them out!

10. Moksi

Bringing that filthy Bass-House sound to Baltimore, Moksi is a Dutch duo who we cannot wait to see tear up Fright Night. They have releases through Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, and were prominent members of Yellow Claw’s Barong Family collective. This past summer, the duo set off on their own path, with their Debut Album as well as forming a brand new Moksi Family label!

9. Inzo

Inzo is a relative newcomer to the game, but his live shows are not to be overlooked. The Chicago based producer/DJ graced the Wakaan Festival mainstage with one of the most unique and thrilling sets we’ve seen all year. With huge Future Bass hits under his belt like “Overthinker” and “Let It Slide“, Inzo has a very exciting future ahead of him.

8. Hekler

Between his What the Hek EP through Never Say Die and literally dozens of festival bookings in 2019, it’s safe to say Hekler is crushing it. The Vegas born twenty-two year old has made a lane for himself by bridging the gap between Dubstep and Trap music, and he’s been doing so since the age of thirteen. If you haven’t caught one of his sets yet, do not miss this one!

7. Blunts & Blondes

With Riddim becoming one of the most popular subgenres of Dubstep music, Blunts & Blondes and a plethora of other Riddim heavyweights have taken the Bass world by storm. Blunts & Blondes just released his Smoking With Friends EP through Deadbeats and it was one of our favorite projects of the year (so far). Check that out here!

6. Dubloadz

Dubloadz is playing not one, but two sets this year at the inaugural Fright Night Massive. Dubloadz has dabbled in tons of different Bass subgenres and is certainly a force to be reckoned with. In the past, he’s described his style as “Savage Wonk”, which is hard-hitting, sharp, and of course, wobbly. He’s also a founding member of the no longer active DJ Supergroup ChodeGang, which also consisted of Barely Alive and Virtual Riot.

5. Said The Sky

Said The Sky brings a melodic background and technical training into his work. Blend that with stellar songwriting and you’ve got a hit machine on your hands. The Colorado producer works directly with Illenium, as a piece of his touring live band and a close friend. The two artists have collaborated a number of times. Said The Sky’s also gained the attention and collaborating interest of huge industry names like SLANDER, Seven Lions, 3LAU, Adventure Club, and more.

4. San Holo

San Holo has exploded over the past year or so. His album1 was one of the most chilling, comprehensive projects of last year, and he has only gone on to crank out more and more infectious singles.

San Holo’s stage energy is unmatched. He performs the whole DJ set with his guitar across his body, seamlessly transitioning from live DJing to shredding on his axe over the blissful, ethereal soundscapes he’s created. Do not miss this set!!

3. SVDDEN DEATH Presents. VOYD

This is not a normal SVDDEN DEATH set. Nope. This is VOYD. No speaking, creepy demonic skull mask on, all dubplates and unreleased tracks. This is going to be the perfect Halloween set. The VOYD side project started as “an avenue to post stuff I was playing live that people wouldn’t have liked if it was presented as SVDDEN DEATH. No melodic intros and heavier drops. etc. Now its an excuse to push myself to make a ton of new music and try new ideas” according to SVDDEN DEATH.

2. Alison Wonderland

There is something special about Alison Wonderland’s sets. They really do feel intimate, no matter how massive the venue or festival crowd is. That might be because of how sincere and transparent Alison is with her constantly growing fan base. Listener’s dont only grasp onto her catchy, pop meets EDM music, they also are attracted to her bubbly yet uber-real and personal energy. Alison also does a great job balancing that poppy, lighter sound with her massive artillery of Trap bangers she’s cranked out over her extremely impressive time in the industry.

1. Zeds Dead

What can we say here? The most legendary dubstep duo ever is earns our number one spot on this list. They’ll be the perfect set to close out this first-year festival. Zeds Dead sets do not disappoint. Either they are coming down on you with a tidal wave of Dubstep classics that you forgot you wanted to hear, or they are bringing that non-stop, face-melting firepower. Either work, to be honest, but hopefully, we’ll get a touch of both from the Deadbeats label heads.

Who else are we gonna see at Fright Night? Let us know who you’re most excited for at the first-year festival next weekend below in the comments!
