Rezz released her six-track EP Beyond the Senses earlier summer. We know Rezz has tons of unreleased tracks in her vault and today, Rezz and Malaa have officially released their highly anticipated collab “Criminals“. The two have been in the same circle for a while, they even went on a nationwide headlining tour together back in 2016. The pair of producers share a unique affinity for all things dark and spooky, both as masked artists as well as purveyors of darkness and danger within their music. Their new collaboration is out now through Tchami’s Confession Label.

Rezz first announced the collab earlier this summer and let her fans revel in “Criminals” as she debuted it at her Rezz Rocks performance. Rezz and Malaa finally mixed the track together at Freaky Deaky this past weekend, allowing Houston to experience their final combined sound. She also let the world know it would, not surprisingly, be officially released on Halloween.

Their release brings Rezz’s signature mid-tempo vibes, which is projected from the start of the track, then at the hook, we get to hear Malaa’s grimey sound come through. “Criminals” is an intense combo of two artists who constantly surprise us with their distinct deep and dark sounds.
