The Floozies are the self-titled “Undisputed Kings of Electro-Funk”. The two brothers, Matt and Mark Hill, are live instrumentalists/producers out of Lawrence, Kansas. They’ve collaborated with Jam, Funk, and Bass acts alike, ranging from GRiZ to The String Cheese Incident to Karl Denson.
Today, the Funk duo is linking up with one of the most exciting names in Bass music, Dirt Monkey. On their new collaboration track “I Aint Home”, the two heavyweight artists collide to create a euphoric soundscape of anything and everything wonky.
“My song with The Floozies is out now! I had extreme levels of fun making this and hope you have even more extreme levels of fun listening to it.” – Dirt Monkey
This new tune carries examples of both artists’ signature sounds, lined with funky, infectious piano riffs, smooth, sultry vocals, and groovy, pulsing, heavy dubstep. This team-up leaves very little to the imagination and shows us exactly what the worlds of Funk and Bass are capable of when they collide.
