Today, Grammy-winning, platinum-certified Dutch DJ Tiësto and UK pop sensation Mabel dropped their gripping collaboration “God Is A Dancer”. The new bop follows Tiësto’s recent hit single “Ritual”, a collaboration with pop powerhouse Jonas Blue and global superstar Rita Ora that has clocked up 24 million YouTube hits to date.
An irresistible slice of modern pop, “God Is A Dancer” allows Mabel’s sizzling vocals to take center stage, as her vocals flow perfectly with Tiësto’s 90s house-inspired beats. The track’s catchy chorus is sure to be a hit at clubs and parties, as it’s lyrics “just take it step-by-step when you come out on the floor, you got that left, right, left, leave ’em coming back for more” explicitly invite partygoers to dance.
“Working on this track has been so much fun. It’s such a great feel-good dance song, that I’m excited to share with the dance floors and festival crowds around the world! Mabel is an incredible talent, she smashed the vocal, and I cannot think of anyone else more perfect to have collaborated with on this record.” -Tiësto.
Last year, Tiësto’s track “Jackie Chan” with Post Malone, Dzeko and Preme flew up to #1 on the Billboard Top 100 as well as scoring #3 in the UK Official Charts. “God Is A Dancer” is the banger we all needed for the fall, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it had similar traction in the charts.
