Heard It Here First

After teasing a collaboration on Twitter over the weekend, global electronic fixtures ODESZA and Golden Features have delivered their first pair of singles!

While coming from distinct genres, the new project – operating under the name BRONSON – is a pleasant pairing that shows the strengths of each individual artist while maintaining cooperative influence. The project is being released through Counter Records.

“HEART ATTACK,” the first of the two, is a master-class in production with its undeniably clean sound weaving soft synths, hypnotic bass, and ambient noise with an understated vocal performance from DJ/singer lau.ra.

The latter single – titled “VAULTS” – seems to draw a bit more from Golden Features’ deep-house palette with breakbeat and chopped drums plus more electrified synth textures. “VAULTS” is chill but carries an aggressive urgency in both its percussion and syncopation.
