Heard It Here First

After sharing the tune with fans for the first time at their b2b set for Philly’s HiJinx Festival, Excision and SLANDER are finally bringing fans one of their most anticipated releases. “Your Fault” is out now, through Excision’s newly formed Subsidia Records, which was announced back in September at his Couch Lands virtual festival.

A collab from these two electronic heavyweights has been a long time coming. SLANDER provided direct support for select dates of Excision’s 2019 APEX Tour and also has appeared at his Lost Lands festival all three years it has been around. SLANDER have become well known for their emotion-evoking anthems and that’s exactly what we get on their new collision course with Dubstep god Excision.

“Your Fault” features that classic SLANDER sound, that’s sure to have you belting all the heart-filled lyrics, mixed with Excision’s neck-breaking production style. Breathe-taking vocals from Elle Vee fit perfectly and create an emotional masterpiece. This collab is a match made in heaven and we can only hope we get more team-up releases from the two massive acts in the future. Maybe even a second b2b set?

This release follows SLANDER’s recent collaboration with producer Fairlane and vocalist Jon Mendelsohn. For Excision, it follows his Subsidia compilation albums, which featured 120 womping tracks and collaborations between himself and huge Dubstep acts like Wooli, Dion Timmer, and PhaseOne.
