Producer/DJ Nurko is bringing listeners a two part single with vocal support from Devon Baldwin, to close out a breakout 2020 year.
Nurko has made many moves in 2020 to become one of the best up and coming melodic producers in the scene. This year alone he has produced over ten plus singles/remixes, collabing with big name artists such as Illenium, Gryffin, and Seven Lions. For those who are unfamiliar with Nurko, his melodic style of EDM brings me chills that reminds me of the early days of Illenium’s melodic touch that has made him so popular among fans, so it will be exciting to see his bone chilling chords and synths touch the hearts of millions in 2021.
Singer Devon Baldwin released her “Underwater” EP in 2019 and came out with a collab called “Angel City” with G-Eazy. Be on the lookout for more of her vocals and riffs in 2021, that are sure to be paired up with more melodic songs that will uplift the airwaves.
This two part single brings two uniquely different approaches of dance music to astonishing vocals. Part one has entirely new sonic space for Nurko, trading his usual melancholic notes for an uplifting chord arrangement and synth stabs. Part two however brings us the more melodic approach that we so dearly love from Nurko. The two part EP is a powerful combo about a changing relationship, in which things have headed south , yet the feelings for one another still run deep. Even with these hardships, each significant other still loves the other immensely. The two parts blend together flawlessly and are yet another example of the artist’s passion and production prowess.
“The emotional journey of the two part EP starts off on a low, but ends on a happy note” -Nurko
