Heard It Here First

Meduso is one of our favorite finds of 2020. The up-and-coming bass producer has caught the ears of thousands of electronic fans and captivated their hearts with his full-length Yugen project. The final effort included both audio and VR experiences, and it was so fire it lead us to book him for our inaugural Cabin Fever Festival, where he performed alongside AHEE, ill.gates, VibeSquaD, Ill-Esha, Sam Lamar, Tripzy Leary and loads of other esteemed artists.

Today, Meduso’s Yugen album is getting the remix treatment, and who better than some of the underground’s finest to take on the remix package for this gem of an album. We are teaming up with Wriza to premiere his take on “Yugen”, the title track, a few days before the official remix album is released.

Wriza is a Denver based producer who has been slowly and surely building his sound since 2016. Mixing hip-hop influences with dubious bass-lines and hard-hitting synths, Wriza is a force to be reckoned with. He’s opened for the likes of Troyboi and Mersiv and has appeared on Mersiv’s own MorFlo records multiple times.

For Wriza’s absolute goliath or a remix, he’s bringing out all the stops. Masterfully crafting the original into a high-octane Dubstep blaster, this new remix shows off that Wriza has some serious production chops. Finding a way to somehow make the original tune more exhilarating, Wriza absolutely crushed this new remix for Meduso.

The remix pack will also feature new reworks from Vibe Emissions, Engix, Illanthropy, Dream Pusha, Feelmonger, Kadena, Maroc and loads of other talented producers and drops on Friday!
