Dion Timmer has been releasing deliciously complex bangers since he stepped onto the scene a few years back. The young producer was taken under the wing of Excision, the modern-day king of Dubstep. The two have collaborated countless times and today, Dion is making a surprise appearance on Excision’s new Subsidia label, which launched late last year.
Dion is one of the most promising talents in the bass music world. He has collaborated with some of the biggest Dubstep behemoths in the scene, ranging from Zeds Dead to Adventure Club to Virtual Riot. Between his own production prowess and non-stop support from Excision, he’s sure to claim a spot at the top sometime VERY soon.
On “All My Thoughts”, Dion Timmer is recruiting bass maven and vocalist extraordinaire Lucii for this new heater. Lucii has been a favorite of Liquid Stranger‘s Wakaan label and has performed multiple times opening up for the label boss, at Wakaan takeovers and festivals, but also as direct support on both Liquid Stranger’s Infinity and Ascension tours.
She’s had some of our favorite breakout singles over the past few years, including hits like “Neptune”, “I Need Your High”, and “Me & You” featuring Champagne Drip.
Their new collab “All My Thoughts” encapsulates sides of production from both of these young artists. The two up-and-comers absolutely crushed this one, as many of their fans have been anxiously awaiting this collaboration’s release date. It appeared in Lucii’s 2020 Wakaan End of the Year mix and I personally have been craving it ever since.
Utilizing Lucii’s infectious vocals as the body of the tune, it quickly breaks down into an exhilarating bass drop, that is less heavy and more on the vibey side. “All My Thoughts” is sure to transport you away from your constantly ruminating mind and bring you to an interstellar, robo-futuristic paradise.
These two have massive futures ahead of them. What did you think of their collab“All My Thoughts”? Let us know your thoughts on Lucii and Dion Timmer’s newest work down below in the comments.
