Riot Ten’s sophomore album “Hype or Die: Homecoming” just dropped on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records with a tour to follow this fall. The tour will feature fellow bass goliaths like MUST DIE!, Ace Aura, Lizzy Jane, Jeanie, Perry Wayne, and loads more.

“Hype or Die: Homecoming” showcases his evolution as an artist. His new album contains more tracks than his previous album “Hype or Die: Sun City.”  Furthermore, it expands on some of the unique elements that the first album contained such as melodic synth leads, trap beats, rap lyrics, and heavy metal vocals and instrumentals. It features collaborations with Bok Nero, Mike’s Dead, Global Mongo, Joe Buras of Born Of Osiris, and tons more.

I found the new album to be a fuller manifestation of what Riot Ten was aiming for in his previous Hype or Die album. The new project solidifies his place in the bass and dubstep scene as an ever-impressive artist in terms of both his production chops and live performance and DJing skills. The future looks bright for the touring producer and we look forward to what’s to come from Riot Ten. Here’s what he had to say about the new album:

“Bar none, this album is the best body of work that I’ve ever created. I wanted to keep the essence of my signature “hype or die” sound, while also stepping outside of the box, and I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. When I first started the process, the goal was never to create a full-length album. However, with so much downtime during the pandemic, the ideas kept flowing and the songs compiled. This album really sums up who I am as a producer in the bass music world and I’m beyond excited to finally put it out.”  – Riot Ten
