There’s no party like a Birthdayy Partyy. The Chicago-based duo Birthdayy Partyy is back this summer with their newest single “Supercharged.” 

They started Birthdayy Partyy back in 2018 and made their debut at EDC 2018 after winning a championship submission to the Corona Electric Beach discovery contest. The duo has also released official tracks and remixes with Autograf, Odd Mob, Dr. Ozi, and LUZCID. Catch them in their hometown at Lollapalooza’s Official Aftershow on July 28th, 2021 opening up for Cash Cash. They also announced their Our Kind of Partyy Tour with Too Kind and support from TEKNICOLOR with dates to be announced soon.

The twin brothers describe their newest single as their most significant release to date. The name “Supercharged” was inspired by the energy they felt at the start of 2021 which motivated them to refine and perfect their sound and build their dream team. They celebrated their return to live events with this electrifying new bass house track.

With both funky beats and bass, “Supercharged” will give you the energy you need all summer long. This track is a party-starter from beginning to end. It will have you bringing out party hats and balloons and dancing like it actually is your birthday! They effortlessly combine disco and bass, turning the track into the perfect summer anthem, which means “Supercharged” is the go-to song to start each and every one of your summer parties off with.

Here is what the duo had to say about their new single.

“‘Supercharged’ was actually started a long time ago. Our die-hard fans will recognize the drop from early versions we had been rinsing out since EDC 2019, but we definitely polished it up to where it is now. It all started with this outboard analog synth that Jon had, and one day we whipped up a wild sound bite of us holding out a note and just messing with different knobs. All of a sudden the patch just clicked and we were like OOF that’s a bass. The bassline fell together from some of the best cuts and a couple accent basses repurposed from other tracks of ours. Then we wrote a soulful, funky intro to match our house and disco influences and BAM. In the end, we got a high-energy banger that really represents us, and this one is going to be a heavy hitter in our sets for a long time to come. This is what Birthdayy Partyy sounds like.” – Birthdayy Partyy
