The 19K label boss Patrick Mageath, better known as Dirt Monkey, has made quite the name for himself by creating some of the wonkiest bass music in the industry. His bouncy sound and feel-good energy make his live performances a truly unforgettable experience. Whether it’s a live stream or live in-person, he always makes you feel at home with non-stop warm vibes and positive energy.

Dirt Monkey started off his career with the release of “Gin N Hustlin'” back in 2010. Since then, he has had several successful releases on mainstay bass labels like Disciple, Wakaan, Subcarbon, and even his own label 19K. Collaborating with fellow big-name artists such as Tech N9ne, Boogie T, TYNAN, Jantsen, and more, he has shown that his production talents know no bounds.

Today, the kendama-tossing, skateboarding, wonk wizard has blessed fans with another hard-hitting masterpiece. Featuring Jooby Truth on the vocals, “Shine” brings the signature Dirt Monkey wubs we all know and love.

The first single off the upcoming “Depolarized”  album kicks off with Jooby Truth and gradually builds up to a bass-heavy party starter guaranteed to get any crowd grooving. He’s certainly set the bar high with this lead single.

Dirt Monkey is is no stranger to Heard It Here First. We’ve covered him since our conception and last month, we covered his recent single “Warm N EZ”.

Dirt Monkey just recently announced his Depolarized Tour, which features support from Wreckno, Kumarion, Digital Ethos, Ravenscoon, and more.
