BRWN BEAR is an Ohio-based electronic artist who is coming through with the heat today. The quickly rising producer has provided support in the past for ATLiens, Buku, Eazybaked, Sfam, and loads of other huge bass names.
On top of that, he’s unleashed loads of bangers on HIHF favorite labels like WTF’s That Sound, Wubaholics, Sub.Terrenean and more! He’s also set to open for ill.gates on select dates of his upcoming 2021 tour. With collabs with fellow up-and-comers like Gardella and Dewmba under his belt, we are certain there is a large career ahead of the ultra-talented BRWN BEAR.
A filthy new bass blaster, today’s new tune is going to go perfectly alongside festival sets throughout the rest of the summer. We had the absolute pleasure of premiering BRWN BEAR’s newest work. Employing brutal bass and infectious synths throughout, we are certainly amped to be allowed access into the “Bread Bank”.
Here’s what BRWN BEAR had to say about this fuego new effort:
“Bread Bank was a lot of fun to make, I wanted to make something that would make me smile on stage and the meme video I sampled this from always makes me laugh. The lead in the first drop came about with sound design experiments and I started to just build a beat around that. I usually do drums first but this time I had the lead down first, and I knew I wanted to make something that would make me happy so I reached for that video and started on the second drop. I had been listening to a lot of Smoakland and Eradikid at the time and wanted to make one of those wide leads but at a slower tempo. After that the mix down and master were the most challenging part. It’s a lot of fun to play on stage and I love seeing the crowd go crazy for the sound design, or laugh from the sample.” – BRWN BEAR
