CHASSI is a riddim-style dubstep producer who has been making waves in the ever-growing world of bass music. The Los Angeles-based artist has released under some of the biggest labels on the scene, ranging from Bassrush to Disciple to Funtcase‘s DPMO to Excision‘s Subsidia. Today, the young performer is taking on some heavy-weight artists for his brand new remix, Riot Ten‘s collaboration with DJ Afterthought and former G-Unit member Young Buck, “Mawlee.”

Heard It Here First got the exclusive opportunity to premiere this remix a day early, before the full remix pack drops. The official remix EP features remixes from Dr. Fresch, Stylust, Jiqui, Godlands, Dr. Ushuu, Typhon, and, of course, Chassi.

On Chassi’s “Mawlee” remix, he brings out the riddim-laced firepower he has become well known for. Disgusting growls discharge lasers straight to the listener’s eardrums, making it a must-listen for modern dubstep fans.

This new take on “Mawlee” follows Chassi’s contribution to Funtcase’s new DPMO compilation album, which dropped earlier this week. The booming up and comer also just performed at Excision’s Lost Lands festival a few months back, better known to headbangers as dubstep Disneyland. You can listen to that performance here.
