Heard It Here First

Duskus has been busy this week. Just a few days after playing the Do Lab at Coachella, he released a bouncy new single “Let Go“.

The frequent Bitbird contributor and eclectic electronic producer Duskus appears to be setting himself up for a big 2022. “Let Go” is his second single release of the year and despite an incredibly early slot on Sunday of Coachella, he still managed to pack out the Do Lab stage. Which is no small feat considering the standard attendance at 12:30 PM on Sunday of that festival. Keeping that in mind, what is becoming abundantly clear is that his popularity in the States is only growing, and growing quickly at that.

Duskus has established himself as a versatile producer over the past couple of years and with his latest, he brings back his vibrant minimal sound design on a song that he made while in green rooms while on tour using only his laptop and headphones. He has always been able to do a lot with a little and “Let Go” is no exception. It is an impressive feat for what it achieves in only two minutes.

In that short amount of time, he conveys a comprehensive vibe that is at one time both energetic and emotional. Perfect daytime, poolside, happy house music, this track is going to get a lot of plays over the next few months as the weather improves and the festival season returns.
