Entangled Mind has become a staple of the underground bass scene through her awe-inspiring live performances and ever-impressive hypnotic soundscapes. She’s traveled the world throwing down at landmark electronic festivals like Tipper & Friends Suwannee, Infrasound, and Secret Dreams.

Today, she’s linking up with the legendary Gravitas Recordings for the official remix package of her Illuminate EP from early 2026.

The new Illuminate: Remixed features an insane roster of talent, all of whom bring their production prowess under the spotlight for reimaginings of Entangled Mind originals. Here’s what she had to say about the new project:

“The original Illuminate EP felt like a complete journey on its own, while at the same time the sounds and themes within it felt like they had more potential to expand even further. This is my first time doing a remixed album and I invited a number of some of my favorite musicians and producers from around the world. Some of these artists I’ve admired for years, others have been more recent discoveries, and all came through to deliver their unique takes on these songs.

Illuminate: Remixed traverses through fourteen reimagined tracks, with the remixers taking inspiration from the originals and expanding into new dimensions and atmospheres. It is a journey through psychedelic worlds, hitting some futuristic and higher energy moments, as well as blissful and emotive progressions, and everything in between.”

– Entangled Mind

Illuminate: Remixed features brand new reworks from Dessert Dwellers, Swomp, Herbalistek, Smigonaut, Mindex, 5AM, dela Moon, Dillard, Maxfield, Ferrofluid, Lo.Renzo, Faelow, and Shelajit. The new remix project spans subgenres including glitch-hop, halftime downtempo, psychedelic bass and many more.

Maxfield’s take on Entangled Mind and Amalgamy‘s collaboration “Zenya” added an extra bounce to the original track and we absolutely adored it. Although still a vivid and bold reimagining, the two original producer’s instrumentation still shines through and creates the perfect backdrop for Maxfield’s boisterous detour of a remix.

Herbalistek is a bass blending duo from Tokyo that alongside Entangled Mind, have been big hits within the Tipper & Friends scene. They put their filthy, relentless, trapped-out sound design into motion on their “Grounded” remix, creating crunchy, glitchy textures ready to flex any speaker system it touches. You can check out their HIHF guest mix from a couple years back here.

Smigonaut brings out all the stops for his gnarly, diabolically squeaky remix of the eponymous “Illuminate.” This halftime heater was a rollercoaster of a rework that we immediately added to our Into The Abyss playlist.
