Sunsquabi is a mystical, magical Denver-based band that exists on the precipice of both the electronic and jam worlds. The impressive live three-piece just released their album Arise, which they celebrated with a release party Friday night in their hometown, featuring a corresponding free live stream for fans across the country.

The new full-length project is jam-packed with tasty new grooves from Sunsquabi. These three know exactly how to blend infectious synths with filthy guitar riffs and leave us even more stunned with each track as we listen through Arise. The LP also features them laying down collaborative tracks with acts like Big Gigantic’s Dominic Lalli, Chris Karns, Iya Terra, and Jason Huber of Cherub.

As they set off on their nationwide tour alongside fellow funky three-piece L’especial, they also have multiple high-profile festival appearances ahead of them. Sunsquabi will be performing at huge multi-genre fests like Okeechobee in Florida and Backwoods on Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas.

We had the opportunity to have Sunsquabi as a guest on our Good Listeners Podcast, where we spoke to them about their Summer 2022 festival run, the intersection of jam bands and electronic music, and of course, their new album Arise. You can check out that conversation here.
