Wax Motif calls for an open invitation to the dancefloor in his newest amped-up bass house banger, “No Standing”, released through his own Divided Souls Records. Following the success of his 2022 debut LP, House of Wax, the orchestrator continues to expand his evergrowing collection of originals that have become consecrated anthems within house music.

Wax Motif, or Danny Chien, is famously known for his adaptable, drum-dominated sound that ingeniously merges hip-hop and bass house. Vibrantly exhibiting his versatility in his House of Wax album, the highly-sought after producer has since garnered massive attention that further contributes to his pre-existing legacy. Producers from all ends of the gamut have yearned to work alongside Wax Motif, making way for him to collaborate with household names like deadmau5 and Destructo. Beyond his album success, Wax Motif’s 2022 single, “On The Low”, has quickly grown into one of the esteemed producer’s top hits, proving his present-day hot streak.

“No Standing” is the ideal addition to Wax Motif’s catalog of dancefloor ear candy. This upbeat house tune relies on a bumping bassline that utilizes provocative vocals to entice listeners to dance to the beat. Fans have been itching for the official release of this long-awaited ID, after Wax Motif teased “No Standing” at numerous festivals this year, including EDC Orlando, Electric Zoo, and Escape Halloween. Wax Motif has certainly earned the title of a bass house legend and we look forward to what he has to bring to the party in 2023!
