Alison Wonderland launches FMU Records and also announces the debut of the forthcoming Whyte Fang LP. The brand new label also released its first-ever single, “I Surrender” by Jon Casey and Dabow. Alison Wonderland is definitely no stranger to the scene: she’s played high-energy headlining sets at almost every major music festival around the world. Also, she even made history as the first female DJ to headline the main stage at EDC Las Vegas. Now, her career is diving into a new chapter with the launch of her new label; FMU Records.

The label launch party is slated for March 10th, 2023 at an NYC warehouse. The event will feature a headlining Whyte Fang set and an exclusive premiere of her new LP for that moniker. After six years of being dormant, Alison Wonderland rebooted her side project, Whyte Fang, in 2021 with recent singles “Girl,” “333,” and “TIDES,” which are all singles on her LP. The event will also feature sets from other artists who will have releases on the new label.

FMU Records offers an impressive start with Jon Casey and Dabow’s collaborative single “I Surrender.” The song features the two producers’ innovative sound design, bouncy percussion, and floor-shaking bass lines. Through this track, they combine simplicity with expert production. Both producers have established themselves well in both the trap and bass scene, with genre-bending tracks released on labels like Sable Valley, Mad Decent, Fool’s Gold, and Buygore.

The two producers have also had strong support from huge name artists as well; The Glitch Mob, RL Grime, Zed’s Dead, GTA, UZ, and many more. This first release on FMU Records is an exciting preview of what’s to come on the label – which will feature a diverse set of talented artists from all over the world. Here’s what Jon Casey and Dabow had to say about their new track off FMU records:

Dabow showed me this idea in the studio together and I said I have to add my 2 cents on it ASAP. We listened to the song more than we worked on it at the time because we loved hearing it so much. The fact that it’s FMU’s first record is the biggest honour and I’m beyond hyped to get it out. Thank you Alison for believing in us the way you do. Hope y’all enjoy it.“ – Jon Casey

“’ I Surrender” was meant to be a collab with Jon Casey from the minute it was started, feels special to be part of the first release on FMU Records. We worked on this collab in the weirdest music studio in Austin Texas, it was like a huge warehouse, with a lot of abandoned stuff, but in two rooms they had some nice studios. The whole mgmt team was there, vibing to the track. Jon was adding unlimited sauce to it. Till we were like: “Yo, this is it!” Then the next night we were listening to it in the car with a few other people, and I told Jon: “This track is gonna change our lives.” – Dabow
