Dani Demand is a rising star dubstep producer who absolutely should not be slept on. The young up-and-comer has played festivals like Lost Lands and has provided remixes for huge names like Virtual Riot and Porter Robinson.
Today, Dani Demand is back with a brand new banger, released through the Echoes Collective label. Teaming up with Zef Paristo for some soothing and powerful vocals, “Butterfly Effect” is dedicated to her little brother and a reminder that any small choice of occurrence can heavily impact the future. The new tune brings a colorful tidal wave of bass over the listener, fueling them with emotional energy. Here’s what she had to say about “Butterfly Effect”:
“I made a choice to focus on my health and transition into womanhood that resulted in getting kicked out and not being able to talk to my brother because of it. I saw him briefly perform in a musical that his high school was doing and the music inspired me to write something that helped express my sorrow and remind me of him. With the help of Zef Parisoto with the lyrics, his vocals truly amplified the meaning and emotion behind this track.” – Dani Demand
Dani also won the Excision-backed production contest, awarding her 10,000 dollars to be put towards her career in the quickly-moving music industry. She won one of the ten spots, alongside HIHF favorites like A Hundred Drums and Zingara, and it is crystal clear that she has a massive future ahead.
