Heard It Here First

Super Future is making a statement with his new five-track “Full Spectrum” EP. The experimental bass producer explained to his followers on Instagram that his newest project showcases his full range and bold creative explorations that he hopes will build a uniquely beautiful experience.

It started as an all-unreleased mix earlier this year, and his own tour of the same name. Today, “Full Spectrum” is here in all of its glory and individuality. The EP includes downtempo, experimental bass, garage, pop, breaks, and trap. While Super Future is not a new name in the experimental bass scene, this EP feels like a fresh new chapter for the producer showcasing his potential as an artist and stapling himself as a pioneer across the niche bass realm.

The opening track “Haunted” is everything we love in a Super Future song, a downtempo journey, with heavy-hitting bass that builds throughout the track. The vocals add emotion and make this one a dreamy concoction of soundscapes.

Next on the project is “New Smoke” which will flip listeners on their heads, and stir up the energy. The nasty and gritty bass makes it a monster of a tune with the power to absolutely slay sound systems. Super Future uses his own vocals on this one to build hype throughout while blending trap and heavy bass styles.

“Hot UKG Summer” is a gift to dance floor addicts and UK garage enthusiasts. This one is such a fun tune and the title tells exactly what you are getting yourself into. It feels like the perfect summer hit to get crowds dancing and shaking. Garage is something that we haven’t heard from Super Future before, making this one a groundbreaker for the artist himself.

Following comes the flirty pop banger “Sublime.” Radio pop music is heavily influenced by EDM, with many notable dance producers making some of the most recognizable pop anthems. Super Future delivers his own version of pop on “Sublime” with experimental bass mixed in and sexy vocals on top.

Last on the project is “The Basics,” with Just John, closing out the EP in an aggressive bass-fueled effort that smacks listeners with trap and breaks.

Super Future will be riding the wave of his latest self-released EP into live sets later this year. Next up he will be at Sound Haven Festival at the end of the month. Then, coming up in the fall/winter Super Future will be providing support on CloZee‘s upcoming Microworlds Tour and LSDREAM‘s The Radical Audio Visual Experience Tour.
