CloZee, the queen of world bass, is back with another fantastic journey into sound. “Skylight” is the epitome of her signature sound and captures so many of the elements that have enthused long-time listeners for years. Yet, she still manages to innovate and showcase all the artistic progression she has made, leading her into her album, Microworlds. and its accompanying international tour featuring support from Daily Bread, Josh Teed, and more HIHF favorites.

The track encapsulates the dramatic builds and expert design we have come to expect from the French phenom and we are thrilled to hear the wicked bass lines and masterfully wonky sound design that she is so adept at providing, on her upcoming album.

The three-minute and forty-two-second music video is produced by Jade Ananda and showcases a heartwarming friendship that hints at developing into so much more. No spoilers, but the epic imagery pairs seamlessly with the chilling, ethereal vibe of “Skylight.”

Here’s what CloZee had to say about the new cut off her upcoming album:

“‘Skylight’ is the very first tune I composed for the Microworlds album. That was the track that unlocked this new musical journey. I wanted to write a bright, epic and cinematic song to contrast with the darker moments of the COVID period, and try to get me out of my writer’s block. It was the one that opened that door.”
