Kumarion has rapidly leveled up over the past few years in his career and continues to release high-quality, high-energy tunes to top-tier labels like Sable Valley, Monstercat, Bassrush, and many more. His break-out track “Want It” was supported by almost every headlining artist in bass music, like CloZee, Boombox Cartel, Feed Me, RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, and countless others. That track is also still a favorite a few years after its release.
His forward-thinking approach to making music and bringing drum and bass to the scene in the US has captured the attention of thousands of fans, and he definitely maintains this with his new single “Killa,” which was released Friday through Crucast.
The track starts out with a catchy melody and breaks, and transitions into a dark world-influenced vocal with a heavy reese bass underneath. Kumarion builds the energy into a very heavy, clean, and polished bassline that should be incredible in a live setting with a big sound system.
Kumarion has a set coming up at Insomniac’s first-ever Apocalypse Festival in Long Beach, CA, where fans will get the chance able to hear this new single in person. With “Killa” and the many other gems in his artillery of hits, Kumarion’s done really well at making each tune unique but also allowing his own voice to shine through so that you can feel it in his production.
