For the first time ever, Deadbeats is teaming up with Brownies & Lemonade to showcase artist releases from producers who have been pushing drum and bass forward in the US recently. Their goal is to give the genre even more of a platform and to bring it to an even wider audience in the States to propel it forward.

Brownies & Lemonade, founded in Los Angeles in 2012 as a grassroots artist showcase, has grown in a huge way over the years. They’ve turned into a global brand, and have championed emerging artists as well as established names in the electronic music space. B&L launched their DNBNL series in 2021 which has quickly become one of the most impactful live showcases for drum and bass in North America. DNBNL has put on amazing names like Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Netsky, Pendulum, Dimension, Culture Shock, Wilkinson, Kumarion, and many more in major cities across the US, and even Fiji.

Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats imprint has been championing talent for years and has been one of the top labels in dubstep since 2009 when it first began. With their Altered States project, they explore an even wider variety of genres outside of dubstep. This year, Zeds Dead has amplified its influence with headliner slots at major festivals and a successful Deadbeats tour, culminating in its signature Denver takeover with shows at Red Rocks, Mission Ballroom, and the Denver’s Civic Center park. Deadbeats’ roster, featuring Tape B, Smaokland, VCTRE, IMANU, ALLEYCVT, and dozens more, reflects its support of the underground and it’s massive impact on the scene as a whole.

The first-ever single from this massive collaboration between Deadbeats and BnL is called “Interference,” by DNMO and Bensley. The tune starts out with an upbeat and catchy bassline and transitions into an exciting and energetic build. The sound design is extremely cutting-edge and unique creating an impactful yet minimal soundscape at the same time.

The combined talent of these two producers really shines through in the track, and it will definitely be a heavy hitter on both club and festival dance floors! DNMO and Bensley are two ultra-talented artists who are the perfect choice to start off this release series.
