Bromosapien is an artist we’ve had our eyes on for a minute now. The North Carolina rising star dubstep producers has released tunes on huge labels in the past, ranging from Subtronics’ Cyclops Recordings label to Mersiv’s MorFlo Records to Boogie T’s Drama Club Records. He’s also gained support from fellow heavyweight dubstep artists like Liquid Stranger and Jantsen, and has even played support performances for Bear Grillz, Run DMT, Champagne Drip, Ray Volpe, Kompany, and tons of other headbanger favorites.
Bromosapien holds a serious production prowess, dabbling in all sorts of sub-genres like DnB, Neuro, Halftime, and of course, dubstep.
We recently teamed up with BroMosapien to help premiere his outstanding original track “That One Song…” in late 2023 and now we are ecstatic to not only link up with BroMosapien again but also with one of our favorite dubstep labels blessing the scene with non-stop releases, Wubaholics!
On “Baja Blaster”, an obvious nod to the Taco Bell late-night favorite Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Bromosapien is showing off those crunchy waves of bass that we’ve come to expect from the multi-talented up-and-comer. It’s a serious festival weapon, one we can’t wait to hear flexed on a proper sound system this summer.
Here’s what Bromosapien had to say about “Baja Blaster:”
“This tune is a testament for my love of halftime & neuro bass music. This one is just straight up grimey with every bit of rhythmic & percussive flow I could throw in. Instead of adding my typical vocal flare, I decided to use vocals with beatboxing to make the song even more primal. This is seriously one of my favorite halftime tunes I have made in years & I hope it shows!” – BroMosapien
We can’t wait for the whole Mad Skillz EP to drop tomorrow and are anxiously awaiting what’s next from this meteoric rising star talent. What did you think of “Baja Blaster” from BroMosapien? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to show him some love and support on social media!
