Experimental bass duo VCTRE and OkayJake have joined forces to unleash a grimy and wonky single titled “Rise.” Both producers have been on the rise and catching more and more eyes on their projects, and for good reason. VCTRE, one half of the iconic bass duo Integrate in collaboration Black Carl!,  has been hot on the scene. He continuously ups his game with each release to continue pushing the boundaries of experimental bass sound design. His signature guttural bass lines, deep textured production, and mystical, looming sound make VCTRE stand out from the pack with his unique twist on bass music. He has been booked and busy in 2024, from playing Nocturnal Nights Festival, headlining a show in Nashville, and supporting a SLANDER show, VCTRE is a name that is spreading quick like wildfire amongst the electronic dance community. We can’t wait to continue to support his climb to the top.

OkayJake, an impressive Atlanta bass music producer, is paving his way in the scene with his effortless technique of blending harmonies and glitchy basslines. OkayJake strives to keep fans on their toes as he dives into a variety of different subgenres. OkayJake keeps things fresh and his creativity seems to have no bounds. OkayJake also just announced a support slot for Tape B’s biggest headlining show to date, at Denver’s legendary Mission Ballroom in Denver in November.

Their new collab, “Rise,” is an epic creation that showcases both producers’ sound design skills while twisting and contorting your mind throughout the track. This no-frills banger cuts right to the chase, diving into distorted and cutthroat beats that take you on a spaceship ride to another dimension.

VCTRE has been shouting out OkayJake for a while now on his socials, so we were ecstatic to see the two working together in an official capacity on this absolute heater. Pairing these two dynamic producers makes for a combination for the ages, and we hope to see these creative artists come together again soon in the future!
