Emerging from the depths of dark bass, Rezz and Virtual Riot team up with One True God for their collaborative single, “Give in to you”, a ferocious joint-release on Monstercat and HypnoVizion. Residing on a foundation of grungy guitar with a metallic-bass core, this turbulent effort challenges the sonic distinction between Rezz’s midtempo fervor and Virtual Riot’s cut-throat uptempo production prowess, as the pair simultaneously exhibit their heavyweight synergy.

Meanwhile, One True God supplies and mystifies with his shadowy vocalizations and ghastly inflections sprinkled throughout the track, cementing “Give in to you” as a festival-must have for bass fans across the board.

Opening with a ominous wave of echoes lead by a looming drum line, “Give in to you” harbors a nightmarish ambiance from the jump. One True God’s haunting vocals further amplify the eerie atmosphere, as a guitar riff steadily intensifies the track in a crescendo.

A reminiscent extension of the rock influence displayed in her recent ITS NOT A PHASE EP, Rezz is quick to hold listeners captive through hypnotic beat breaks while Virtual Riot’s growling frog bass detail the background. A true merger of genres, the marriage of atmospheric synths and hardcore instrumentation birth a bass-rock hybrid that could only be achieved through the meeting of minds as innovative as Virtual Riot and Rezz’s.
